Preliminary

  1. Log in as Administrator
  2. Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Lists > Service Project Name
  3. Add the new Project name – use the same name in the Excel file below (Column D “Service Project Name”)


Excel file

  1. Use a previous template file eg CONSILLION\NetSuite Stakeholders - Documents\Templates\Historic .csv Uploads\PY KMart log in update - Service project.csv
    1. Needs the following column headers:
      1. Asset ID
      2. Region
      3. Case Type Service Project - already set as default in the Saved import
      4. Service Project Name - From step 3 in Preliminary above
      5. Incident Date - Specified from requestor
      6. NextService Asset
      7. Project Internal ID -
        • Use this search to export all Projects: Sales - NX Project Search
        • Use VLOOKUP for the NextService Asset against this list of Projects. It should be the PM Project
        • Ensure there are no “N/A” in the VLOOKUP
        • Ensure this is the Project Internal ID and not the Project ID.
      8. Task Type Service Project Call - already set as default in the Saved import
      9. Customer
      10. CaseExternalID - Make this unique and sequential eg KM20241125.C01
      11. TaskExternalID - Make this unique and sequential eg KM20241125.T01
      12. As of the update in Feb 2025, we need to add the TimeZone for the Case. Get this from the Site TimeZone of the Asset.
  2. Save as new file (.csv) in the same folder with a new name
  3. Ensure all columns are populated from the requestor, if not then send it back as incomplete

Import

  1. Go to Setup > Import/Export > Saved CSV Imports
    1. CON - Service - Project Cases Bulk Import
      1. Ensure Customer is updated to the correct customer
      2. Set Incident Date as static (only accepts date field, not date/time)
    2. CON - Service - Project Tasks Bulk Import
  2. Set assigned to the Requestor
